Research is often associated with experiments, data analysis, papers, and long hours in the lab. While those are certainly a big part of the journey, some of the most memorable moments happen away from the equipment and computer screens.
Earlier this week, our research group got together for lunch to celebrate Maria completing her MSc research project. It was a great opportunity to step away from our daily work, enjoy some pizza together, and reflect on another milestone within the group.
One of the things I value most about being part of a research group is the people. Everyone comes from different backgrounds, brings different ideas, and contributes to creating an environment where learning goes beyond experiments. These shared moments help build friendships and remind us that science is a collaborative effort.
Congratulations to Maria on completing her project, and I wish her every success in the next stage of her journey.
